MasterChef Derek Lau drops into Low Key Chow House for two nights only, cooking a 6-course menu with our head chef Zamry Kader Meerah.
Perth boy Derek is bringing his well-honed cooking skills to Low Key and reimagining some of our all-time favourites. Derek will chat with each table, talk you through the dishes and flambé the drunken Chivas Regal ribs. It’s gonna get hot!

Known as the “Gun Show” (judge Matt Preston obviously impressed with his biceps), Derek was a viewer favourite in this year’s MasterChef, finishing in the top 10.
With parents originally from Hong Kong, Derek grew up eating Chinese food and has continued cooking these flavours into adulthood. Coupled with his love for cooking bangin’ BBQ and flavoured sauces – this collab suits Low Key to a tee!
Margaret River winery Risky Business will be comin’ to the party – you’ll enjoy a complimentary glass of Luxe Riesling on arrival. We’ll be pouring Risky Business Riesling, Rose and Tempranillo at special prices all night.
